Echuserang Froglet

I love this girl. I discovered this when an office mate sent me a link of her and Philip Kaye’s (not in any way related to her) performance in SF Cafe. I fell, and was hooked. Another favorite is the poem “A Love Letter of a Toothbrush to a Bicycle Tire.” Spoken Poetry is the new contemporary lit. A marriage of theater and poetry. Something that I thought never existed but it does. :) What a wonderful world we have full of infinite possibilities.  

Lord God, I choose to thank You for my weaknesses, my infirmities, my inadequacies (physical, mental, emotional, and relational)…for the ways I fall short of what people view as ideal…for my feelings of helplessness and inferiority, and even my pain and distresses. Your grace is sufficient for me, for Your strength is made perfect in my weakness.

let’s try a little of this each day at a time..rather than sulk about the things we cannot have. Let’s look at the here and now…

I remember a verse “Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing, and perfect will (Romans 12:2)” 

I’m an envious person (in little doses, but that is not an excuse, and when I feel that I just remember that in fervent prayer, God can give three answers: Yes, no, or wait. If it doesn’t happen yet, it can mean a no or a wait. The best thing is to surrender the petition according to His will, for it is only Him alone who knows what’s best for us.
